Producer critically injured after car hits her

MALIBU, Calif. �

Authorities say Hollywood producer and talent coach Joan Hyler was in critical condition after she was strike by a car Friday night on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California.


Hyler, who has represented Bob Dylan and Madonna and is a former chief Executive of the nonprofit Women in Film, was strike as she was header to a home in the area.


In a posting on the Web site of UCLA Medical Center, her folk says she sustained "knockout and multiple injuries."


A hospital spokesman says Hyler remained in critical condition Sunday.
